Cancellation of Orders

Our main aim is to provide a customer friendly environment. In the event that a customer purports to cancel an order already made, he has to do so within 4 hours of placing the order. If however, the order has already been transmitted to the courier service for shipment purposes and the shipment process has thus been initiated, the order can then not be cancelled.

In order to cancel the order, the user is required to intimate us at admin@ramkatha.org.in of the cancellation request. Once it has been established that the order was cancelled in time before shipment was initiated, the requisite refund shall be rolled back to the user through the same means that was first used to pay for the product/service.

Refund/Replacement in case of damaged/defective products

In the event that a product delivered to the user is found not to be in the condition as described on ramkatha.org.in, including but not limited to damaged or defective condition, the user/consignee/buyer may be entitled to a refund or replacement, which choice is required to be made by the user. The user is required to inform us regarding such incidents by mailing us at admin@ramkatha.org.in. The user shall then courier the product in question in unused condition, alongwith the original sale invoice which is shipped along with the products, in the same packaging that it was received in by the user, to our address: 602, VRINDAVAN APARTMENTS, SWAROOP NAGAR, KANPUR 208002. Please note that we will not entertain refund or replacement requests if the original sales invoice is not sent with the product.

This process of informing us of the defective/damaged product and mailing the product itself to the address shall be completed within 5 working days of receiving shipment.If the user fails to do so, http://139.59.59.102 shall not be liable to refund the requisite amount or replace the product either. Please note that any expense the user bears for returning the product shall be borne by us.

We at http://139.59.59.102 value quality above all else and strive to bring you the best in our service. We shall examine the product returned to see if it is defective/damaged or in any way not as per the description provided on the website. Thereafter, an appropriate decision shall be taken in the matter. This verification process shall be carried out within 2-3 working days of receipt of the returned product. If the complaint is confirmed, the user’s choice of refund or replacement shall be implemented. If however, nothing is found out of order in the product returned, the price amount of the product shall be credited to the user into the same credit card/debit card/bank account that was used for the initial transaction. Any delays in credit to the user shall not be the responsibility of http://139.59.59.102 since that is managed by the banks in question.

The policy laid out above is a blanket one and may be changed from time to time, or may differ in the case of a particular service/product. Notice of the same shall be provided to the user before being directed to the payment gateway. The user is required to accept the terms enumerated thereunder, enable the ‘I have read the terms of the Cancellation and Refund Policy’ and click on ‘I Agree’. This shall be seen as acceptance of the terms set out in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
